Job Description
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at CRB, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm. Experience collaboration and continuous learning with subject matter experts across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, automation engineering; architecture and lab planning; procurement, estimation, virtual design & construction, health & safety, and construction management. This diversity allows us to provide innovative & impactful solutions to the Life Sciences and Food & Bev industry where speed, quality, and creativity are crucial.
How will I contribute?
This role is a key position in our Mississauga office, supporting our growth and expansion within Canada. You will be a vital part of the mechanical team, providing high-level technical support on all life sciences projects in Canada.
You will oversee discipline deliverables and budgets on projects of varying complexity, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and manage multiple tasks by establishing priorities and guiding team members. You may act as the mechanical point-of-contact for clients, other disciplines, pre-construction services, and contribute to project code analysis, bid/permit/construction deliverables, and technical design aspects. You will develop project documents such as calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring full coordination from conception to completion.
You will also mentor early-career engineers on HVAC, plant utility, plumbing, and compressed gas systems.
