Job summary

Litens is seeking a Senior Model Integration & MBSE Lead in Canada to own integration and governance of system-level engineering models across multiple domains. You will drive model continuity, version control, and deployment across MIL, SIL, HIL, and virtual validation workflows, contributing hands-on to motor, power electronics, and controls modelling.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field; MSc considered with strong industrial background.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink capability and system-level modelling experience.
• Experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL workflows and real-time validation.
• Ability to collaborate across CAE, Controls, Software, Electrical, and Product Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-domain model integration and system-level plant models across controls, electrical, motor, thermal, fluid, mechanical, EMC, and software domains.
• Develop and modify electrical, power electronics, motor, inverter, and controls-oriented models for system integration.
• Collect, adapt, and maintain subsystem models for MIL, HIL, MOO, and virtual validation.
• Ensure compatibility, connectivity, and traceability between physics-based and control system models.
• Govern model repositories, version control, parameter management, and model lifecycle practices.
• Act as the primary interface between CAE, Controls, Software, Electrical, and Product Engineering teams.
• Support MBSE governance, requirements traceability, model review workflows, and model release processes.
• Maintain and support MBSE integration tools and workflows.
• Support deployment of integrated models to real-time and virtual validation environments, including Speedgoat-based HIL systems.
