Job summary

Strike Group is seeking a Senior Materials Coordinator to oversee materials management, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics in a fast-paced oilfield environment. You will coordinate movement of materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and optimize trucking logistics to support field operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in oilfield materials management, strong leadership, and proficiency with ERP/WMS tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management within the oil and gas or oilfield services industry.
• Experience coordinating trucking and logistics for shipping and receiving operations.
• Strong knowledge of oilfield materials, equipment, and inventory control processes.
• Experience with warehouse management and inventory tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution of oilfield materials and equipment.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound trucking requirements to ensure timely delivery and shipment of materials.
• Schedule and communicate with trucking companies, suppliers, and field personnel regarding shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate material replenishment to support operational requirements.
• Ensure proper handling, tracking, and documentation of all materials.
• Review shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, and freight invoices for accuracy.
• Develop and implement inventory management best practices and procedures.
• Lead and support warehouse personnel while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
• Work closely with operations, purchasing, and field crews to meet project and operational demands.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
