Job summary

Strike in Whitecourt, AB is seeking a Senior Materials Coordinator to oversee oilfield materials management, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics. Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution of oilfield materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound trucking requirements to ensure timely delivery and shipment of materials.
  • Schedule and communicate with trucking companies, suppliers, and field personnel regarding shipping and receiving activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate material replenishment to support operations.
  • Ensure proper handling, tracking, and documentation of all materials.
  • Review shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, and freight invoices for accuracy.
  • Develop and implement inventory management best practices and procedures.
  • Lead and support warehouse personnel while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Work with operations, purchasing, and field crews to meet project demands.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce transportation costs.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Materials Coordinator to oversee all aspects of materials management, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics within a fast-paced oilfield environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of materials and equipment, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient trucking logistics to support field operations.

Key Responsibilities
