Job description

Join our Marketing and Communications team as a Senior Marketing Specialist, Insurance. In this individual contributor role, you will collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team and key Insurance Solutions and Distribution partners to enhance our marketing efforts. This role involves developing and executing insurance go-to-market strategies aligned with our business and marketing objectives, incorporating our brand voice to prioritize the customer.

What you will do:
  • Create high-quality marketing briefs and ensure successful go-to-market launches.
  • Lead marketing initiatives and campaigns from start to finish.
  • Utilize data and competitive intelligence to validate target segments.
  • Integrate customer and advisor needs into marketing plans.
  • Develop engaging content and messaging for customer-facing materials.
  • Market our products to resonate with target audiences.
  • Deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Participate in Marketing Rallies and lead working group meetings.
  • Keep tasks and actions updated in marketing project management software and suggest process improvements.
  • Conduct closeout sessions with teams and leaders to gather feedback, report success metrics, and share learnings.
What you will bring:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong brand and marketing expertise, including digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong partnership and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to identify insights and opportunities.
  • Flexibility to work in-office 3 days a week at one of the Canada Life main campuses.

The base salary for this position ranges from $63,500 to $117,400 annually. This figure represents base salary only and excludes other variable compensation components such as bonuses and commissions. If selected to proceed, your recruiter will discuss the total rewards package with you.
