Hiring Requirements :

The Senior Marketing Manager will support cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated positioning strategies that commercialize new products and maximize brand exposure for Dempster’s & POM (Pantry, Tortillas, Bagels, etc.). Responsibilities include managing the brand P&L, launching innovative products, and developing strategic brand plans. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, passionate about food, customer, and consumer, with excellent relationship-building, strategic, problem-solving, business analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Develop the annual marketing plan for Dempster’s / POM in collaboration with sales and major customers.
  2. Manage the inter-agency team including packaging, creative, media, and PR agencies.
  3. Lead business reviews, marketing plans, and customer presentations for Dempster’s / POM.
  4. Lead the social media strategy for Dempster’s and POM brands.
  5. Manage budgets, including processing, tracking, and reporting.
  6. Oversee product launches, including innovation, renovation, packaging, and sales materials development.
  7. Collaborate with production, supply chain, purchasing, and sales teams on various projects.
  8. Report monthly on business performance, analyzing key drivers, opportunities, and threats.
  9. Utilize market data (Margin Minder, Nielsen, Numerator) to gather insights and inform strategies.
  10. Plan and execute consumer and customer strategies for new product launches.
  11. Develop commercial strategies and lead multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives.
  12. Manage the Dempster’s / POM portfolio for profitable growth through SKU rationalization and assortment optimization.
  13. This role may require travel (less than 5%).

Experience & Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional brand marketing experience in the CPG industry.
  • Proven ability to develop initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen, particularly in P&L and budgeting.
  • Team-oriented with leadership skills.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and AC Nielsen.
  • Contributes to a positive, respectful team culture.
