(MCP) is a leading full-service national distributor providing sales, marketing & brand strategy development in the Canadian marketplace for over 25 years.Our extensive portfolio of brands includes Dr. Scholl’s, Salon Pas, Breathe Right, EOS, Freeman Beauty, Real Techniques, Dr. Teal’s and more!Position Overview : The Senior Marketing Manager shapes and delivers strategic marketing programs for consumers and healthcare professionals, with a focus on business growth and enhancing market performance.This role is multifaceted and is akin to being a General Manager for the brand.A key component of the position is to translate marketing strategies into sales execution plans.Ideal candidates will bring strong analytical skills, exhibit entrepreneurial flair and have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Key Responsibilities : Brand Management & Strategy Development : Develop comprehensive brand plans with objectives, strategies and tactics to drive growth and achieve targetsLeverage market data & client brands decks to build compelling fact-based selling presentations & sell sheetsLead new product launches and line reviews ensuring the right position, pricing and forecasts in place for a successful launchDevelop & achieve annual budget / sales targetsLeverage industry data to identify opportunities, risks, and strategies for growth -Conduct point of sale (POS), AC Nielsen, shipment, pricing & GAP analysesProfessional Marketing : Build and maintain relationships with customers, Key Opinion Leaders, and industry associations to elevate brand visibility, support marketing initiatives, and acquisition of market insightsManage tradeshow planning, sampling opportunities, and sponsorshipsLead the development and execution of professional marketing strategies targeting healthcare professionals (HCPs), including pharmacists and physicians, to drive recommendation and endorsement of the brandReporting : Track trade-spend and business performance and support sales planning processesProvide reports and performance updates to internal & external stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-makingCreate & manage project trackers for new item launches, product packaging changes, price increases, and other ad hoc projectsCross-Functional Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate with Key Account Managers and the Insights team to ensure alignment on marketing and sales initiativesCollaborate with Supply Chain team on forecast and demand planning in support of core business and innovationManage relationships with clients providing regular status updates on ongoing projects and initiativesQualifications : Minimum 8 years of Marketing / Brand Management experience (CPG mandatory)Post-secondary marketing or business degreeProven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of brands and developing successful strategies for continued growthPrevious experience with OTC brands and DIN and / or NHP skusExperience developing and executing HCP-targeted marketing strategies and educational materialsFamiliarity with compliance requirements for professional marketing in regulated categoriesStrong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and industry stakeholdersStrong analytical skills- expertise working with Nielsen data Strategic Storyteller : In conversation, in presentation, with data, via PowerPoint & ExcelEffective communication skills both verbal and writtenAble to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage a diverse portfolio of products and tasksExperience managing, training and developing people, prior experience with support staff and direct reports is an assetExperience in relationship management and cross-functional collaborationProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power PointWhat's in it for you?Growing company with a great reputation and a dynamic, friendly "family-feel" cultureCompetitive compensation package – including an annual bonus program and group RRSPComprehensive company paid employee benefit program, including health, dental, life insurance Paid time off and half-day Friday during the summer rest of year, 8am-3pm on FridaysHybrid work environment, work from home 3 days a week, 2 days in office (and as required)Renovated offices & stocked kitchen that includes beverages & snacksCollaborative and supportive team environment, potential for growthHead Office based in Burlington, ON.Only those candidates under consideration will be contacted.MCP is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
