Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a Senior Manager, Training to lead enterprise-wide training and development strategy. You will partner with Operations, HSE, Quality, PMO, HR and other leaders to align learning with business needs and regulatory requirements.

You will build competency measures, governance, and scalable programs across regions and functions. You will drive adoption of the FLINT Academy, mentor the Training and Talent Development team, and champion continuous learning and operational

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in training, learning and development, organizational development, or adult learning.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing training, learning, or talent development teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building, implementing, and scaling enterprise-wide training frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, competency management, leadership development, and workforce capability planning.
  • Experience working in industrial, construction, energy, or project-based environments is asset.

  • Support workforce readiness, certification, compliance, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Measure training effectiveness through KPIs and continuously improve programs based on business needs and feedback.
  • Partner with senior leaders and functional teams to identify capability gaps and support organizational effectiveness.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on learning, development, and workforce capability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Training and Talent Development team while fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Training, is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and execution of FLINT's enterprise-wide training and development framework. This role provides leadership across the full employee development lifecycle, from organizational training strategy and program design through implementation, delivery, competency management, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.

As a trusted leader, the Senior Manager, Training partners closely with Operations, Human Resources, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality, the Project Management Office (PMO), and business leaders to build workforce capability and organizational effectiveness. This role ensures all training initiatives align with corporate objectives, operational excellence standards, regulatory requirements, and workforce development priorities.

What would you be doing?
