Job summary

HOOPP is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design, development, and scaling of advanced data science, AI-enabled analytics, and semantic data modeling within the Total Fund Analytics ecosystem. The role combines hands-on applied AI with governance, data engineering, and strategic delivery to support senior leadership and board oversight.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive experience in applied AI, data science, analytics engineering, data engineering, or investment analytics.
• Strong Python and SQL skills guiding AI-assisted coding, transformations, and validation.
• Experience with semantic models, governance, and data quality in large enterprise datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex AI/data concepts to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Total Fund data science, modeling, and AI-enabled analytics workstreams with strong governance and delivery discipline.
• Develop and evolve analytical and semantic data models, metrics, and reusable data products.
• Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines across SAP HANA, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric with production-grade controls.
• Extend semantic layers for Power BI and Qlik; manage LLM/RAG interfaces with governed metric definitions.
• Coach junior staff, drive cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Investments, Technology, and Data.
• Drive innovation in AI adoption while ensuring governance, explainability, and security.
