We're looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team and lead initiatives focused on driving innovation, efficiency and process improvement within the healthcare sector. Within the context of a patient and family centred model of care and, in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and the strategic directions of Providence Health Care (PHC), the Senior Project Manager, Strategic & Operational Projects promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Office of Strategy & Results or designate and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Senior Manager, Strategic & Operational Projects is a key enabler for the execution of strategic, operational, and corporate projects, leading process improvement, and supporting other organizational priorities.
The Senior Manager, Strategic & Operational Projects develops and implements standard methodologies to facilitate strategic, operational, and/or corporate priority improvement projects including project and change management tools such as charters, project plans, risk management plans, and communication plans. Strong collaboration, communication, stakeholder engagement, facilitation and change management skills are critical to success, as well as the ability to think and help others to think, strategically and critically.
What You Bring
Education
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master's Degree in Health or Business Administration, Leadership, Organizational Development or relevant clinical field such as Nursing plus a minimum of seven (7) years recent experience in a complex health care environment in a role that involved project and change management involving complex, multi-disciplinary projects working with a broad range of stakeholder groups.
