Job description

As the Senior Manager of Warehouse Operations, you will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions in our Ontario, California warehouse location. This position reports to the Operations Director and is responsible for training, evaluating, and rewarding staff, as well as ensuring the maintenance of company assets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve warehouse performance objectives by establishing daily management methods for on-the-floor operations; define cost-saving, productivity, and service level improvement opportunities; measure performance; analyze opportunities; improve and control performance; and aim to establish outstanding customer satisfaction, speed inbound to outbound cycle time, and eliminate errors.
  2. Maintain receiving, warehousing, and outbound operations by implementing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  3. Communicate with internal and external warehouse customers, report to management, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations by reviewing legislation and advising management on necessary actions.
  5. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures.
  6. Maintain physical condition of the warehouse through planning and implementing layout designs, inspecting equipment, and managing repairs and replacements.
  7. Recruit, select, orient, and train warehouse staff.
  8. Coach, counsel, discipline, and evaluate staff performance; plan and monitor job results.
  9. Stay updated professionally by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in networks and societies.
  10. Contribute to North America BU level projects as needed.
  11. Key qualities for success include being data-driven, hands-on, resilient, solution-oriented, and engaged with the work and mission.
Compensation:

$110,000 - $130,000 a year
