Join to apply for the Senior Manager Merchandise Planning role at Mejuri

Mejuri is the category-defining fine jewelry brand redefining luxury, your way. Feeling disconnected from an industry that typically markets to men, co-founder and CEO Noura Sakkijha leveraged her learnings as a third-generation jeweller to rethink the way women purchase jewelry—for themselves. In only seven years, and with a team of over 75% women, Mejuri has shipped over one million orders and opened retail stores across the globe, all while introducing new products weekly.

As part of Noura’s original vision to empower women to invest in themselves, the brand launched the Empowerment Fund to support underrepresented women and non-binary individuals with the tools to empower themselves. Mejuri continues to reach new customers through exciting community initiatives and expansion into international markets, such as the UK, Australia and Germany.

We are a team of retailers, creatives, technologists and strategists, and we are looking for someone special to join our team.

Senior Manager Merchandise Planning

As the Senior Manager, Merchandise Planning, you’ll play a critical role in establishing how planning drives product and inventory decisions across the business. This is a rare opportunity to build processes, introduce new ways of working, and influence cross-functional teams — especially Merchandising — who are engaging with Planning in a formalized way for the first time.

This role requires someone who’s not only highly skilled in financial planning and data interpretation but also excited by the challenge of change management. You’ll be a key business partner to cross-functional stakeholders, especially the Merchandising team, providing insight, structure, and recommendations to help them make more informed, strategic decisions.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to turn data into action, and is energized by the opportunity to bring clarity and efficiency to a growing, entrepreneurial retail business.

What You'll Do

  • Develop merchandise financial plans which optimize product category sales, financial, margin, and inventory goals.
  • Manage the open to buy (OTB) process (part of the sales and operations planning process) that budgets for inventory purchases of both carryover and new products.
  • Accountable for delivering against key business metrics such as sales, gross margin, sell-through, inventory turn, and weeks of supply.
  • Responsible for optimizing inventory investment and driving ROI across product categories and channels.
  • Be the focal point for weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reporting, developing tailored reporting for senior leadership and the merchandising, finance, supply chain, retail sales, and digital teams.
  • Develop and deliver performance analysis across the business that measures achievement of sales, margin, and inventory plans.
  • Influence key stakeholders by delivering insights and recommendations that support strategic product and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Merchandising, Finance, Retail, and Supply Chain teams to ensure cohesive business strategies and product execution.
  • Support the buy review process for new products with forecasting and analysis including halo and cannibalization estimates, required for inventory investment and store distribution decisions.
  • Support the forecasting for carryover and new product launches and new store openings.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • 5+ years of experience in retail planning, buying, or retail business analytics — ideally in a high-growth or multi-channel environment.
  • A strong understanding of retail financial metrics and inventory management principles.
  • Experience partnering with Merchandising or Buying teams and bringing structure to decision-making in environments that are less process-driven.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and change — with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and presenting to leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Merchandising, Finance, etc.).

Benefits at Mejuri:

  • A minimum of three weeks vacation, plus personal days and three religious/cultural observance days.
  • A hybrid work model for all corporate roles
  • ‘Mejuri Passport’ which allows employees who meet specific criteria to work in other locations for one month per year.
  • Comprehensive medical and dental benefits, including mental health coverage, and generous personal and sick days for our full-time employees. We also offer bereavement leave, including miscarriage and stillbirth support.
  • Parental leave salary top-up of up to 80%, as well as a personalized return-to-work transition and accommodation plan for full-time employees.
  • Semi-annual performance reviews.
  • A generous product discount!

Please note that these benefits apply to full-time employees.
