KPMG in Canada is seeking a seasoned Indirect Tax professional to work closely with Partners and senior staff on GST/HST, QST, PST, and other indirect taxes. You will research, draft, and support clients through audits, appeals, and compliance engagements across various jurisdictions.

Our Indirect Tax team offers a full range of planning and compliance advice withrespect to GST/HST, QST, provincial sales taxes (PST), property transfer taxes,excise taxes, fuel and carbon taxes, and other indirect taxes levied by theprovincial and federal governments in Canada. We help our clients ensure thatthey are meeting their obligations in all relevant jurisdictions and that theyare making the most of any tax planning and refund opportunities. We also assistour clients in the context of indirect tax audits and appeals.
In this role you will work closely with KPMG professionals and clients onIndirect Tax matters in order to research and prepare advice for our clients andsupport them in their dealings with the taxing authorities.
The expected base salary range for this position is $102,500 to $200,000 and maybe eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salarywithin this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies,and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive andcompetitive Total Rewards program.
