Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced HR professional to join our team in a strategic leadership role. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping employee experiences and supporting operational excellence through HR initiatives across our Canadian operations. This position involves close collaboration with senior leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and drive talent development within a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, training, and related HR services.
- Manage employee records for Canada, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant with relevant record-keeping legislation.
- Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including requisition management, interview participation, offer preparations, and onboarding activities.
- Design organizational structures and change management strategies to support high-functioning, scalable business units.
- Facilitate training and leadership development programs to meet team needs and enhance leadership capabilities.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Lead HR initiatives aligned with corporate goals, including performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with key HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions across talent acquisition, learning & development, and total rewards.
- Promote a consistent, inclusive, and values-driven employee experience.
- Use HR metrics and trend analysis to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage employee relations proactively with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Support organizational change initiatives and transformation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a strategic HR Business Partner capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Skilled in managing both tactical and strategic priorities efficiently, with agility.
- Experience within high-growth, matrixed, or global organizations is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual fluency in English and French is required.
- The role supports operations in Montreal and Toronto, with a hybrid work model that includes in-office presence three days per week in Montreal.
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
