Job summary

Finlink Group in Canada is seeking a senior Controller to lead financial reporting, close processes, and strategic financial insight. You will partner with the VP Finance to drive budgeting, consolidate reporting across entities, and enhance processes through ERP and system improvements.

The role requires CPA and 7+ years of accounting leadership, with hands-on involvement in close, FP&A, and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years in Controller/Accounting Manager role.
• Strong experience with consolidated financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage month-end close and reporting.
• Budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• ERP experience with Sage 300 or NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidated monthly financial statements and supporting reconciliations.
• Drive month-end close to a defined schedule and accuracy.
• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts with variance justifications.
• Prepare and review bank, intercompany, and lender reporting.
• Develop KPI dashboards using Power BI for visibility.
• Oversee ERP-related enhancements and ERP transition activities.
• Mentor Accounting team and drive process improvements.
• Ensure control integrity and compliance across entities.
