Job summary

Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead corporate accounting, capital assets, inventory and financial reporting. The role coordinates annual statements, audits, and CRA remittances while upholding strong internal controls and SOPs.

The incumbent provides leadership to Finance reporting requirements and fosters strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance and governance.

Qualifications

• CPA Certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible and diversified accounting and management experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards, internal control principles and auditing principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GL integrity to provide accurate financial statements and reports.
• Lead accounts payable processes for timely payments to vendors and stakeholders.
• Oversee depreciation of capital assets and inventory accounting.
