Job summary

Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope, BC, part of Fraser Health, seeks a Manager, Clinical Operations to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence patient care delivery in a close-knit rural community. You will drive operational excellence, foster safety and engagement, and advance strategic priorities across the site.

In this leadership role, you will build relationships with staff, physicians and community partners while supporting high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in health sciences or related field, plus seven (7) years’ recent related experience, including two (2) years in a leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages resources through operating and capital budgets and action plans; reviews budgets and coordinates with contracted agencies.
• Provides leadership to foster engagement and safe, quality care; direct supervision to nursing leadership.
• Recruits, mentors, and provides feedback for leadership development and performance.
• Reviews workplace indicators and sets department objectives and action plans.
• Leads quality care initiatives, identifies risks, and drives improvement in clinical outcomes.
• Ensures service contracts meet standards and complies with regulatory obligations.
