Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in health sciences or related field.
• Seven years' recent related experience, including two years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manages resources through operating and capital budgets and contract budgets.
• Provides leadership to foster engagement and safe, quality care.
• Recruits, mentors and provides feedback for performance improvement.
• Reviews workplace indicators and sets department objectives and actions.
• Leads quality care and identifies risks with action plans.
• Ensures contracts meet requirements and responds to complaints/grievances.
• Builds relationships with medical staff and external stakeholders.
• Participates in strategic and service planning and contingency planning.
• Acts as a resource for care teams and health practitioners.
• Advocates for patients and ensures complaint/audit processes.
• Coordinates research initiatives and reporting requirements.
• Chairs or participates on committees and communicates status to leadership.
