About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Airport Terminal Planning & Analytics to lead planning and development at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Reporting directly to the COO, you will oversee terminal and apron planning to ensure operational efficiency, customer experience, and compliance with standards, supporting long-term growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop master plans and detailed designs for terminal facilities to optimize passenger flow, functionality, and revenue opportunities.
• Analyze passenger demand, gate capacity, and circulation to align infrastructure with growth forecasts.
• Incorporate sustainability and emerging technologies into planning.
• Manage planning projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Engage with airlines, regulatory authorities, and community stakeholders to align planning efforts.
• Utilize planning software and data analysis tools to model passenger flows and optimize gate utilization.
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban or Airport Planning, Aviation Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8–10+ years of experience in airport planning, terminal operations, or infrastructure consulting.
• Proficiency in planning and visualization software (AutoCAD, AviPLAN, CAST, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (Transport Canada, ICAO, etc.).
