This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to the transformation of Toronto Pearson into one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world through our transformative capital plan LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals).As a Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office, you will:Lead strategic planning and initiation by developing comprehensive project plans, which includes scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, securing approvals and fundingOversee project execution, monitor progress, take corrective action as needed, and ensure adherence to timelines, budget, quality standards, organizational policies and regulatory requirementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partnersManage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountabilityIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks by developing contingency plans, continuously monitor for emerging risks, and take proactive measures to minimize potential issuesImplement effective change management processes to adapt to evolving project requirementsPrepare regular project reports, track key performance indicators, maintain accurate project documentationLead and motivate project teams, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future project performanceThis is the role for you, if you have:Post-secondary degree in project management, business or a combination of education and experienceProject management certification (PMP) or accreditation, as an asset10+ years of demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholdersAbility to obtain and retain a Transportation Security ClearanceAirport Operations Experience (preferred)Knowledge and skills you bring, that set you up for success:Demonstrated experience in independently managing multiple concurrent complex, high risk and/or long-term projects from planning to implementation and close out, while ensuring that the projects are delivered on time and within budgetKnowledge of project monitoring systems including but not limited to, scheduling, cost, risk, quality, and change controlDemonstrated analytical skills in assessing and reviewing business processes to identify options, best practices and opportunities to improve service deliveryDemonstrated ability to prepare process documents, policies and project documents (e. g. business case, feasibility study, budget estimates, etc. )Strong knowledge of project management best practices and a track record of successful deliveryStrong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issuesProven track record of dealing with ambiguous, contentious and complex issues and situationsRelationship management skills with an ability to earn the trust of, and work collaboratively with sponsors and key stakeholdersContinuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies in order to optimize program delivery and deliver valueHigh degree of accountability, initiative and creativityExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels internally and externallyExceptional personal drive and motivationThe GTAA is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
