Job summary

Loblaw Technologies in Brampton is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – AI & Data Science to lead the Healthcare Data Product team to build and enhance patient-focused analytics initiatives.

You will collaborate with product, technology and business partners to translate healthcare challenges into scalable data science solutions and mentor a team of data scientists across end-to-end projects.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of progressive experience in data science, AI, or analytics.
• Strong Python proficiency with experience in ML/AI; exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP.
• Experience handling healthcare data (clinical, claims, pharmacy, population health) with strong data governance.
• Ability to lead complex AI initiatives and mentor data scientists.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of analytics, ML, and AI solutions for healthcare outcomes.
• Partner with product, technology and business teams to translate challenges into data science solutions.
• Drive end-to-end data science initiatives from problem definition to deployment and monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists.
• Communicate insights and business impact to senior stakeholders.
