Overview

Description — Traffic Tech is a global logistics leader delivering freight by land, sea, and air. This position is based in Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for coordinating and executing movement of freight across North America or globally, supporting our growing Operations team and communicating closely with other team members and Traffic Tech personnel. This is a great opportunity to advance your career within the extensive logistics field.

What the Job Entails
  • Creating and maintaining strong vendor relationships
  • Negotiating with shippers and carriers
  • Shipment tracking – monitor pickup and delivery
  • Preparing required shipping documentation
  • Effective and professional communication with clients and carriers
  • Minor accounting functions and data entry
What We Are Looking For
  • Must have 4+ years of previous logistics / transportation experience, in a 3PL environment preferred
  • Knowledge of cross-border US / Mexico / Canada transportation and booking, OTR truckload, including dry van, flatbed, reefer, etc.
  • High School Diploma
  • Speaking Spanish is considered an asset
  • Customer service experience
  • Problem resolution skills, detail-oriented, high level of multi-tasking
  • Professional phone mannerisms
  • Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible
  • Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun
