Job summary

Brightwater Senior Living in Guelph, Ontario is hiring servers to provide meals to residents with courteous, efficient service. You will set tables, deliver lunch and dinner, and help maintain a welcoming dining environment. We offer full-time, part-time, and casual positions with various shifts.

Availability on weekends and holidays is required. No degree is required; strong communication and POS skills are valued; training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Maintain any other certifications as required by provincial regulations.
• Ability to remain calm when confronted with angry guests.
• Operate P.O.S. system, process payments and balance at end of shift.

Responsibilities

• Serve lunches and dinners to residents according to meal plans.
• Set tables, keep service areas clean and prepared for next course.
• Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes and maintaining hygiene.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
