Job summary

Seasons Retirement Communities LP is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to maintain the upkeep of the grounds, furniture, and equipment across our retirement community in Camrose, AB. The role focuses on safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering reliable maintenance services to residents and staff.

Responsibilities include planning preventative maintenance programs, performing minor repairs, and ensuring a clean, safe living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.
• Effective interpersonal relationship and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
• Must have a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Must be able to operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of staff and residents by regularly maintaining equipment and furniture and by providing general upkeep to the physical grounds and its large systems.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents and guests to determine needs, resolve issues, and evaluate satisfaction.
• Plan and implement a regular daily, weekly, monthly and yearly schedule of preventative maintenance activities to ensure the plant and equipment are safe and in good working order.
• Provide minor building, electrical, plumbing and equipment repair services to ensure the optimum functioning of the physical plant and equipment.
• Receive and store all non-kitchen related deliveries.
