Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Server to join our bright dining room. You will serve meals to residents and guests, set and clear tables, and assist with dishware and kitchen cleanliness in a welcoming, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, preferably with seniors.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and stand for long shifts.
• Second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Set and clear dining tables; deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning dishware and maintaining dining area cleanliness.
• Support catering and participate in special events.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
• Follow health, safety, and department procedures.
• Respect Resident Rights & Responsibilities.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
• Participate in Quality Improvement programs.
• Uphold the organization’s values and code of conduct.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
