Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team, delivering meals and snacks in line with production sheets and dietary requirements. You will work with a supportive team, ensure food quality, and help manage daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team.
Experience in food preparation and cooking in institutional, healthcare, restaurant or hospitality settings.
Ability to follow production sheets, recipes and menus and monitor food quality.

Responsibilities

Set up equipment and supplies for food preparation.
Prepare meals and snacks according to production sheets and recipes.
Provide for prescribed diets at correct temperatures and portions.
Monitor quality of food supplies and report issues to team lead.
In absence of team lead, oversee departmental operations including menu changes and purchases.
Assist in orientation and training of new team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
