Job summary

Baptist Housing is hiring a casual Resident Services Assistant (Concierge) for Hallmark on the Park and Hallmark on the Lake in Abbotsford, BC. You will handle front-desk duties, basic accounting tasks, and resident support to ensure a welcoming environment.

Reporting to the Resident Services Manager, you’ll manage inquiries, maintain records, and assist with onboarding, meals, and billing. A service-oriented mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation required.
• First Aid – Community Care training required.
• Formal training in basic accounting and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Resident Services Assistant or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional reception services and answer inquiries from residents and visitors.
• Respond to resident medical emergencies, contacting 911 as needed.
• Perform general office duties: photocopying, filing, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
• Create and manage documents/spreadsheets using Word/Excel.
• Onboard new residents and manage confidential files, parking, lockers, and keys.
• Maintain confidential tenancy records and census for billing.
• Record meal tickets and track resident charges; assist with utilities invoicing.
• Support move-ins/outs and resident events; coordinate with the Administrator.
