Job summary

CWSAA seeks a Lift Mechanic/Millwright Supervisor to lead routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on Mt Seymour lifts and equipment. You will supervise the Millwright Apprentice and collaborate with Maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

You will enforce manufacturer guidelines and regulations, manage records and inventories, and optimize maintenance workflows while prioritizing safety and cost-efficiency in a high-volume, outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Inter-Provincial Millwright Journeyperson’s ticket.
• At least 3 years of experience as a ticketed Millwright with knowledge of welding and electrical.
• Comfortable working at heights – 50-foot towers.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills to provide timely and high-quality service.
• Valid WHMIS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Organize preventative maintenance, inventory, and records with Maintenance Manager and other Millwrights.
• Identify and prioritize lift maintenance needs and perform maintenance procedures and improvements.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturer guidelines and government regulations for lift maintenance and repair.
• Handle shipping and receiving of materials as required.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, materials used, quality, and cost control.
