Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Lead and support maintenance activities while guiding maintenance personnel.
  • Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure maintenance work is performed safely and in line with company standards.
  • Coordinate with Production Manager on maintenance planning and continuous improvement.

Job description

FS Tool Corporation is seeking a Licensed Millwright Supervisor (433A) to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands‑on leadership role for an experienced maintenance professional with exceptional troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has worked with complex manufacturing machinery and equipment and can independently diagnose, repair, and improve production systems.

This is not a general millwright position. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in maintaining sophisticated manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime, and leading maintenance activities in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
  • Lead and support maintenance activities while providing guidance to maintenance personnel.
  • Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager on maintenance planning, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills.
  • Proven hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Experience performing both preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve mechanical failures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory, team lead, or maintenance leadership experience.
  • Experience working in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
  • Background in:
    • Aerospace Manufacturing
    • Automotive Manufacturing

Candidates from aerospace and automotive manufacturing environments are strongly preferred, as these industries align most closely with our equipment and maintenance requirements.
