Job summary

ClaimsPro LP in Canada is seeking a Senior Liability Examiner for its International Programs Group. The role is hybrid and can be based anywhere in Canada, focusing on moderate to intermediate property claims and timely service to clients.

The successful candidate will bring 3–7 years of claims adjusting experience, an independent adjusting license, and CIP progress or designation is a plus. Lloyd's market exposure is a plus, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to hold an independent adjusting license.
• 3-7 years of experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work.
• Exposure to the Lloyd's market would be an asset.
• Strong technical, planning and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Examine moderate to intermediate complex property claims
• Produce reports with occasional guidance from Manager
• Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations
• Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives
• Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clients’ needs are met
• Report back to the syndicate or self-insured according to their guidelines
