Job summary

Victor Canada seeks a senior leader to direct the Employee & Individual Benefits business in Canada. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days weekly.

You will partner with carriers, plan advisors, and key clients to drive growth, strengthen operations, and advance transformation through AI-enabled solutions and data analytics. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive client-centric culture, and own divisional P&L with a focus on measurable impact and strategic growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent education and experience.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in group benefits or employee benefits administration, ideally with P&L responsibility.
• Deep technical knowledge of group and retiree benefits products, administration processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading leaders across administration, underwriting, sales, and client service.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, underwriting governance, margin management, and P&L leadership.
• Demonstrated track record of leading business transformation, operational modernization, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction and growth plan for the Employee & Individual Benefits business in Canada.
• Lead transformation to simplify, innovate, and reimagine how work is delivered across the operating model.
• Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary leadership team to deliver integrated solutions and measurable impact.
• Foster client-centric culture focused on service excellence, efficiency, and growth.
• Accountable for divisional P&L performance and profitable growth.
• Define and report on KPIs including retention, service levels, profitability, and productivity.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers and partners; partner with stakeholders and clients.
• Champion technology modernization, data analytics, and AI-enabled initiatives to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Represent the business internally and externally to grow relationships and opportunities.
