Job summary

Lasik MD in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Clinical Counselor to guide patients through their vision correction decisions, following a pre-operative assessment and translating medical information into clear, personalized options.

You will coordinate scheduling, maintain patient records, support risk management, and travel to GTA clinics as needed, with a 35-hour work week and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education (AEC/DEC or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical, aesthetic, optical, or luxury service is a plus.
• 3–5 years in a performance-driven, consultative sales or premium services environment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams; able to use SharePoint and CRM systems.
• Ability to enter and maintain patient records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Support patients through their decision-making process and contribute to clinic growth.
• Meet with prospective patients after their pre-operative assessment.
• Translate medical information into clear, personalized value for patients.
• Present vision correction options, benefits, and financing options clearly.
• Book surgery dates and coordinate logistics.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Follow up to improve treatment through trust-building and proactive engagement.
• Travel to other GTA clinics as needed (expenses covered).
