Job summary

Synechron, a global consulting firm, seeks a Senior Java Developer to design, implement, and maintain Java-based solutions across mobile and database programming. The role covers full development lifecycle and hands-on work on mission-critical systems.

The candidate will contribute to high-volume, low-latency applications, drive feature enhancements, and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend development in Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• API design and microservices best practices.
• Proficiency in Java and its ecosystems.
• Knowledge of database schema design.
• Understanding of JVM and related tooling.
• Experience with Git versioning.
• Familiarity with Ant, Maven, Gradle.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our company. In this role, candidate will design, create, and implement various Java-based solutions for the business that will range from mobile applications to database programming.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance

Required Skills:

• 7+ years backend development (Java, Node.js, Python, or Go)
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• API design and microservices best practices
• Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems
• Skilled at creating database schemas that characterize and support business processes
• Basic knowledge of JVM (Java Virtual Machine), its drawbacks, weaknesses, and workarounds
• In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools, for instance, Git
• Understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Web3 and blockchain application development
