Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to strengthen the Elasticsearch Security team. You will help architect and implement core security features such as authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation across the distributed data store.

Qualifications

• Expert in Java memory management and high-performance, thread-safe code.
• Designed scalable authorization models for large permission sets.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems security concepts.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and SAML protocols.
• Proven use of AI to accelerate development.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to core security initiatives from architecture to production.
• Develop foundational security models for features.
• Optimize security performance in distributed systems.
• Apply cryptographic solutions to real customer use cases.
• Ensure data isolation within shared infrastructure.
• Monitor and adopt latest security practices: auth, identity, cryptography.
• Collaborate across teams to embed security in new features.
• Drive vulnerability management with the InfoSec team.
• Leverage AI tools to automate vulnerability triage and investigation.
