Job summary

TD Securities is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join the Global Prime Brokerage technology team in Toronto. The role focuses on building secure, scalable Java full-stack solutions with Spring Boot and React, aligning with enterprise standards and serving TD clients globally.

You will own design, development, testing, and maintenance of applications, participate in code reviews, ensure secure coding practices, and contribute to modernization initiatives while delivering value to

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Java (11 or later) and Spring boot.
Proven experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and service-oriented integrations.
Hands-on experience with React and modern front-end development practices.

Responsibilities

Analyze business and technology requirements and identify solution components.
Design, develop, and maintain Java full-stack applications aligned to enterprise standards.
Develop new capabilities, perform unit/integration testing, and ensure quality and reliability.
Translate requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with analysts and designers.
Drive continuous improvement in development practices, testing, deployment, and maintainability.
Support production issues, incident investigations, and performance tuning.
