Job summary

RBC is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join the Technology and Operations team in Toronto. You will deliver innovative integration solutions for Commercial Banking Platforms, leveraging React/Angular, Java, and Spring Boot within an Agile setting.

You will design and build RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized apps for OpenShift, ensuring performance, security, and reliability across the stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in full stack application development.
• Strong working knowledge of React/Angular and Java, Spring Boot.
• Experience building complex, industry-grade applications.
• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with Messaging Technology (Kafka).
• Proven ability to build containerized applications.
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/OpenShift/GCP).
• Proven ability to apply modern design and coding principles across Front End and Backend Layers.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable front-end and back-end solutions.
• Building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborating in an Agile team across the SDLC.
• Creating containerized applications for OpenShift deployment.
• Ensuring performance, security, and reliability of end-to-end systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across the stack.
