Job summary

PeoplePilot is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring/Spring Boot, emphasizing clean code, SOLID principles, and robust unit testing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, drive quality through code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience using Java across the full application development life cycle.
• Hands‑on experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using clean code, SOLID principles, and established design patterns.
• Build modular, reusable, and testable Java applications and RESTful APIs.
• Develop microservices using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Write comprehensive unit tests using JUnit and Mockito; apply TDD practices.
• Integrate automated unit testing, static code analysis, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion code quality through thorough code reviews, pair programming, and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and operations to deliver reliable, secure solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies including AI-assisted development and automated test generation.
