Job summary

Scadea Software Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to build secure, scalable backend applications for a banking client. You will join a hands-on team delivering enterprise-scale microservices using Java/Spring Boot.

You will design, develop and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and data interfaces while adhering to clean code, OOP principles and design patterns. Expect collaboration across SDLC with architects, QA, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot expertise.
• Microservices and REST API development experience.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and exception handling.
• Good SQL/database knowledge and experience with unit testing.
• Strong coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Banking / Financial Services experience is preferred.
