Job summary

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer to join our team in Toronto. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, JSP, and Spring, delivering robust microservices and RESTful APIs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, write clean code, and optimize performance while embracing Agile practices and modern DevOps tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java/J2EE stack and JSP development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring framework.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Familiar with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud or AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services with Spring.
• Design, develop, and support microservices-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
