Job summary

Dawn InfoTek Inc. in Toronto invites an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and support large-scale enterprise applications across the full stack using Java, Node.js, and cloud services.

You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, implement CI/CD, and collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps in a hybrid work model with three days on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.

Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite in Toronto, Ontario

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is an IT consulting firm that partners with leading Canadian banks, investment firms, and government organizations. We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and support one of our major banking clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support full-stack applications.
• Build customer-facing and internal web applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Support batch processing, data migration, and reporting.
• Build cloud-based applications using AWS.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA, DevOps, and other team members.
• Contribute to CI/CD and application deployment processes.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JSP, and JSF.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Go.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and Amazon DynamoDB.
• Experience building scalable enterprise applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, or SAML authentication.
• Experience in banking or other financial services.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
