Job summary

Infoya is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable applications for e-commerce and enterprise clients. The role emphasizes Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, SQL databases, cloud environments, and distributed systems, with cross-functional Agile collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices with Java/J2EE.
• Strong Java 11/17 and Spring ecosystem expertise; Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Batch.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins; containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; Maven/Gradle.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis; cloud experience with GCP.
• Security (OAuth2, JWT) and production issue management; multithreading and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for high performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Work with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Redis caching.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor apps in GCP; optimize performance in distributed systems.
• Manage end-to-end releases: build prep, automated tests, UAT, Jenkins deployments.
• Conduct unit/integration tests with JUnit/Mockito to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, security improvements, and vulnerability handling.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, DevOps, QA, Product; participate in code reviews.
