Job summary

Equisoft, a global provider of insurance and investment digital solutions, is seeking a Senior IT Talent Acquisition Specialist. The role covers full-cycle recruitment, proactive sourcing, and onboarding, working closely with HR and hiring managers to attract top talent for Equisoft’s strategic goals.

You will lead complex hires, advise leadership with market insights, and drive innovative sourcing while maintaining a strong employer brand and candidate experience in a hybrid Quebec City

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruitment experience in agency or IT on a global scale.
• Excellent knowledge English and French (spoken and written).
• Spanish is a strong asset.
• Proactive, organized, KPI-driven with timely quality hires.
• Strong experience with ATS (Workday preferred).

Role : The Senior IT Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Human Resources & Talent Manager. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with the HR team and hiring managers while playing a key role in hiring the best talent for Equisoft that aligns with the company’s business strategic business goals.

Your Day with Equisoft

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from proactive sourcing and headhunting to onboarding, focusing on identifying and attracting high-quality candidates
• Act as trusted advisor to business leaders and hiring managers on all types of talent needs, providing market insights and recruitment strategies
• Develop comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with company goals
• Act as a coach and mentor peers and more junior colleagues, sharing knowledge
• Think strategically to bring forward innovative ideas and solutions to help achieve team and company goals
• Consult with hiring managers and coach them throughout the recruitment lifecycle and:
• Receive new requisitions and validate its content to ensure Equisoft’s standards are met
• Source through traditional and creative methods to attract top talent, and use various talent search strategies to ensure needs are met timely
• Understanding the technical requirements for various roles while being able to vet candidates' behavioral assessments
• Support hiring managers in the interview process, as needed, and ensure interview cycles are completed
• Obtain approval for compensation packages and initiate offer process
• Ensure all necessary documents and information have been gathered in a timely fashion and initiate onboarding process
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates, including leveraging online platforms, networking, and building talent pipelines
• Contribute to the improvement of processes and tools to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities
• Be primary recruiter on several complex or niche roles and/or lead project development initiatives, while partnering closely with the Human Resources & Talent Manager on priorities, practices and continuous improvement
• Organize recruitments events and develop effective and strategic partnerships
• Promote the referral program, as well as internal postings as to increase internal mobility
• Be an ambassador of Equisoft’s employer brand and values by actively building and supporting the candidates’ experience, supporting HR branding initiatives
• Facilitate onboarding of new team members and provide mentorship to team members when required
• Maintain an active LinkedIn presence and partner with Marketing to showcase Equisoft’s brand, culture and opportunities and engage talent communities

Requirements

• 10+ years of recruitment experience, as a headhunter in agency or the IT sector in a global and international context
• Excellent knowledge English and French (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of Spanish is a strong asset
• Proactivity, strong sense of organization and proven history of reaching and exceeding hiring targets (KPIs) while finding quality applicants in a timely manner
• Strategic thinking when proposing attraction and recruitment solutions to management
• Strong experience working with various ATS (Workday preferred)
• Collaborative and open-minded, with the ability to build trust and adapt your approach to a wide range of of stakeholders and working styles
• You lead by example, inspire confidence and bring out the best in others
• Outgoing personality with confidence in finding, contacting and establishing relationships with potential and passive candidates
