Job summary

BeachHead Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager with a background in M&A and divestitures to lead complex technology initiatives for a major divestiture program.

You will guide end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, ensure smooth transition of business and technology capabilities, and report to senior leadership. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects within the T&O M&A organization for Project Sphere.
• Represent T&O as a senior technology delivery lead through divestiture and transition lifecycle.
• Develop integrated project plans, milestones, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate execution of technology work packages ensuring alignment with program objectives and Day One milestones.
• Collaborate with approx. 10 technology and business workstreams and manage dependencies across lines of business.
• Partner with stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and external partners to drive program delivery.
• Support planning and execution of technology separation activities (applications, infra, networks, data migration).
• Identify and mitigate project risks to senior leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings, updates, and decision making sessions.
• Prepare concise project reporting for senior management and key stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional communication between client stakeholders and external entities.
• Drive alignment of tech deliverables with business needs impacting operations.
• Contribute to governance, documentation, standards, and M&A integration practices.
• Adapt to changing priorities and emerging issues proactively.
• Operate as a hands-on, highly organized senior PM when needed.

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager with a background in M&A and divestitures?

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior IT Project Manager–M&A/Divestiture. This position involves leading complex technology projects within a major divestiture program, supporting the transition of business and technology capabilities, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple stakeholders and workstreams. The role offers the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic environment, managing end-to-end project activities from pre-close through post-close transition phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects within the T&O M&A organization for Project Sphere.
• Represent T&O as a senior technology delivery lead throughout the divestiture and transition lifecycle.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate execution of technology work packages, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and critical milestones such as Day One.
• Collaborate with approximately 10 technology and business workstreams, managing dependencies across various lines of business.
• Partner with stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, service providers, and external partners to drive program delivery.
• Support planning and execution of technology separation activities, including applications, infrastructure, networks, and data migration.
• Identify, elevate, and mitigate project risks and dependencies to senior leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder forums, status updates, and decision-making sessions.
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise project reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional communication between client's stakeholders and external entities throughout the transition.
• Drive alignment of technical deliverables with business needs, impacting operations and client-facing processes.
• Contribute to project governance, documentation, standards, and M&A integration practices.
• Adapt to changing priorities, addressing emerging issues proactively.
• Operate as a hands-on, highly organized senior project manager capable of stepping into various areas of the program when needed.

Desired Skill-Set

• Extensive experience managing M&A projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, or carveouts.
• Strong background in technology separation, transition, and migration activities within large enterprises.
• Proven track record of end-to-end project delivery managing multiple stakeholders and external vendors.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with senior leadership.
• Highly organized, self-sufficient, and proactive with a results-driven approach.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional environments.

Nice to Have

• Prior M&A or divestiture experience within a bank or large financial institution.
• Experience supporting private equity transactions or business carveouts.
• Familiarity with technology components of large-scale business separations.
• Experience working with external consulting firms, vendors, and third-party service providers.
• Knowledge of TSA / transition services environments and post-close migration activities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including potential U.S. travel.
