Job summary

BeachHead Inc. is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager - Technical Projects to lead the delivery of maintenance applications within a dynamic technology team in Toronto. You will set up and refine Agile processes, manage dependencies, and coordinate releases to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive high-quality solutions while maintaining effective communication on progress, risks, and issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Manager in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and refined.
• Coordinate release activities, dependencies, and milestones across teams.
• Track project finances and allocations using Clarity or similar tools.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to leadership personnel.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, QA, stakeholders, and other teams.
• Ensure adherence to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards.
• Manage incoming project requests, dependencies, and release schedules.
• Support the setup and refinement of Agile workflows and best practices.

Are you an experienced Agile Delivery Manager ready to lead high-impact projects?

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Agile Delivery Manager - Technical Projects. In this position, you will oversee the delivery of maintenance applications within a dynamic technology team, setting up and refining Agile processes, managing dependencies, and coordinating releases to ensure seamless application performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Desired Skill-Set

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile management tools
• Proficiency in sprint and Kanban management, backlog grooming, and release planning
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage dependencies and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Experience managing project budgets, including financial tracking
• Strong organizational and leadership skills in fast-paced settings

Nice to Have

• Scrum certification
• Banking or financial services industry experience
• Experience managing project budgets of approximately $1M
• Knowledge of SRE or application support environments
