Canada Cartage in Mississauga seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to own the quality of project deliverables and shape requirements for complex transportation and 3PL initiatives. You will mentor Application Analysts, guide enterprise TMS architecture, and collaborate with QA to ensure robust testing and implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or comparable role.
• Experience in transportation and 3PL technology systems.
• Knowledge of TMS applications and best practices for architecture, design, implementation, integration and customization.
• Experience in the 3PL environment with revenue and expense mechanics.
• Keen self-starter who is motivated to learn new technologies and lead change.

Responsabilités

• Maintain overall responsibility for the quality of the project deliverables.
• Build and formalize the framework for gathering requirements for large projects to enable other Analysts.
• Apply Business Analysis techniques and templates with scalable rigor for project size.
• Document current and target business processes using process mapping.
• Elicit and document requirements for system and process changes through interviews and review of systems/documentation.
• Conduct requirements analysis, system analysis and impact analysis to generate system requirements and design.
• Mentor Application Analysts to collaborate with stakeholders on operational requirements.
• Assist with preparing training documentation/SOPs and train users on system use.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute testing strategies for the TMS application.
• Maintain responsibility for architecture and solution design of the TMS implementation.
• Be SME for transportation applications, monitor roadmap and assess competing solutions.
• Review IT Work Requests, translate business needs into technical requirements, provide feedback for design phases.
• Identify key functionalities to optimize transportation operations.
• Define architecture with TMS providers and internal stakeholders for optimal integration.
• Guide customizations/configurations to meet specific business needs.
• Influence integration strategies with other enterprise systems (Accounting, TMS, Shipping, Yard, Visibility).
