Job description

Canadian Tire Corporation is looking for a Business Analyst – Transportation Operation Solutions to join their team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full-time role sitting at the intersection of supply chain operations, technology implementation, and cross-functional collaboration — a strong fit for someone who enjoys translating complex business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

You'll be embedded in projects that span process design, system testing, and go-live implementation, working alongside IT, vendors, transportation and distribution teams, and architecture partners. The work demands both analytical rigour and clear communication — you'll be defining requirements, supporting training delivery, and helping front-line operational teams adopt new technology confidently.

About the Role: Business Analyst – Transportation Operation Solutions

Day-to-day, this role focuses on gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting user acceptance testing, and managing assigned activities within project timelines. You'll apply your understanding of supply chain processes to ensure that system configurations actually serve the people using them — not just on paper, but in practice. That means engaging stakeholders across Transportation, Operations Planning, Finance, Distribution, and IT throughout the project lifecycle.

Beyond delivery, this position has a continuous improvement dimension. You'll be expected to leverage analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to surface insights and strengthen operational processes. Preparing business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI assessments for technology and operational initiatives is also part of the remit — so comfort with both numbers and narrative is important here.

Benefits and Salary

The broadband salary range for this position is $53,000 – $88,000, with a typical hiring range of $53,000 to $70,000. Final compensation depends on experience, internal equity, and role-specific factors. Canadian Tire also offers store discounts, Canadian Tire Profit Sharing, retirement and savings programs, and access to the Triangle Learning Academy for professional development. The enhanced flex benefits package includes $5,000 per year in mental health benefits for eligible employees and their families, along with total well-being tools and resources.
