Job summary

Integrated ProAction Corp (IPaC) in Kamloops, BC is seeking Forest Technicians at multiple levels to support timber development projects and field data collection. The role offers hands-on experience in a respected natural resources consulting firm with diverse client work across the forestry sector.

Ideal candidates have post-secondary forestry education and are eligible for ABCFP registration. A valid BC driver’s license and the ability to work in all weather conditions are required; safety

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in forestry or related field.
  • Eligible for ABCFP registration (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Physically able to perform field duties in all weather conditions.
  • First Aid or other safety certifications are advantageous.

Positions Overview:

We are currently seeking Forest Technicians for multiple business fronts, from experienced to entry level. Ideal candidates have experience and/or schooling in a Natural Resource Program. Individuals who are eager to complement their ongoing education with hands‑on fieldwork experience, let's talk!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and assist in various phases of timber / development projects.
  • Participate and lead timber assessments and data collection.
  • Prepare and contribute to road and cut block design activities and analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with the team on licensee management planning and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Post secondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry or combination of previous, proven work experience in a related field.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, safety conscious attitude.
  • Eligible for registration with or in good standing with the ABCFP (preferred).
  • Multiphase timber development and project management in British Columbia with a strong understanding of forest legislation, regulation and policy experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Physically able to fulfill the demands of field positions in all weather conditions.
  • First Aid or other safety certifications are advantageous.
