Job description

Are you a senior integration professional who thrives at the intersection of technical architecture and enterprise delivery? As a Senior Integration Specialist at Ledcor, you will serve as a subject-matter authority on our enterprise integration ecosystem — co-designing complex integration solutions, driving platform optimization, and providing technical leadership across high-impact initiatives. You will work hands-on with platforms including Boomi, Solace, AWS, and Azure to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient integrations that connect Ledcor’s on-premises and cloud systems.

Reporting to the Manager, Integration and Automation Services, you will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, and delivery teams to ensure integration solutions align with long-term architectural roadmaps and business goals. With 8+ years of experience in integration and API development, you bring the depth to lead design reviews, establish enterprise standards, mentor developers, and serve as an escalation point for complex production issues — all while championing continuous improvement across our integration practice.

Come and join the True Blue team and build your career with one of Canada’s most established construction companies.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-grade integration solutions — collaborating with Solution Architects to define patterns, uphold security standards, and ensure performance expectations are met across on-premises and cloud environments

  • Drive platform-wide optimization of Boomi, Solace, Azure, AWS, and related technologies, identifying opportunities for reuse, standardization, and modernization to strengthen the overall integration ecosystem

  • Translate high-level business strategies and multi-system dependencies into robust integration designs and solution roadmaps, advising senior stakeholders on technical trade-offs, risks, and architectural considerations

  • Lead design reviews and provide authoritative technical guidance to integration developers, business analysts, and project teams — establishing integration standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across the organization

  • Conduct technical assessments for new integration initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, domain models, bounded contexts, and security and compliance policies

  • Oversee integration testing strategies and champion CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices to improve reliability, quality, and speed of integration delivery

  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex production issues impacting cross-system integrations, leading root cause analysis, guiding teams through advanced troubleshooting, and driving long-term improvements to integration reliability and observability

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to enhance integration capabilities, mentoring developers in integration best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of integration and/or API development experience, including 5+ years of hands‑on work with enterprise integration platforms such as Boomi, Solace, AWS, or Azure

  • 7+ years working within enterprise application ecosystems, with experience across systems such as Oracle JD Edwards, Workday, or comparable ERP and cloud platforms

  • 5+ years designing integration architecture and reusable patterns, including domain-based and bounded‑context data models; experience with canonical data modeling for data lakes is a strong asset

  • Expert‑level proficiency with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, RAML, WSDL, and API testing frameworks, with deep knowledge of event‑driven, pub/sub, microservices, and asynchronous messaging topologies

  • Advanced SDLC and DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipeline management, automated testing frameworks, monitoring tools, and agile delivery practices

  • College diploma or technical certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred; Solace and/or Boomi certifications are highly desirable, and cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, Google) are considered an asset

  • Strong technical communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex integration concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences and influence decisions at a senior stakeholder level

  • Experience mentoring integration developers, leading technical reviews, and contributing to the elevation of team capability and enterprise integration standards

Work Environment
  • Hybrid role with flexibility to work from home and in the office; occasional travel may be required (estimated less than 25% of time)

  • Collaborative, cross‑functional environment with regular engagement across Solution Architects, Product Owners, Integration Developers, QA Analysts, Application Managers, and external platform partners and vendor architects

Compensation

$94,400.00 - $129,800.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
