Farber is hiring a Senior Insolvency Advisor for the Complex Files Team. You will speak with potential clients to help resolve financial situations, receiving live call transfers and guiding clients through bankruptcy or proposal options.

The role requires 5+ years in insolvency, excellent communication, and a client-centric mindset. Hybrid work in Canada, with a salary range of $70,000–$80,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in insolvency as a client facing advisor.
  • Familiarity with Division I Proposals.
  • Pursuing CIN designation is an asset.
  • Strong professional and ethical standards with integrity and empathy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' financial needs and determine bankruptcy or proposal suitability.
  • Work with a boutique service team for high income tax debt cases.

Position Summary

Your primary responsibility as a Debt Solutions Manager is to speak with potential clients to help them resolve their financial situation through the services offered by Farber.
Youwill receive live call transfers from our Client Service Team and external referral sources and immediately speak to the potential client over telephone or video; while reviewing each case to provide guidance, options, and solutions. You Will strive to be a high‑performing individual and your success will be measured by how you meet and exceed your goals and targets.

Flexibilityto work during andoutside standard office hours is required.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with potential clients to assess their financial needs, determine whether bankruptcy or proosal is the right solution, and refer them to appropriate resources/affiliates when our services are not suitable.
  • Work with a team of professionals that provide a boutique service offering for individuals with high income tax debt or high levels of unsecured debt.
  • Assisting with the negotiations of complex filings between a client and their respective creditors.
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics and measurement benchmarks related to conversion rates.
  • Striving to improve against metrics and increaseconversion rateswhilebalancing this with the need to ensure clientsatisfaction.
  • Creating a superior customer experience through engagement, listening, and understanding the needs of potential clients; and showing compassion and empathy while guiding the clients through their options.
  • Developing, maintaining and applying the learned knowledge of our specialized industry.
  • Working closely with all support functions to ensure optimal employee and client journeys are accomplished.
  • Effective and ongoing communication with clients during the initial stages of an engagement to ensure successful enrollment into one of the Farber offerings.
  • When applicable, prepare all necessary regulatory documents required to file either the bankruptcy or proposal.
  • Arranging final meetings with clients to sign all required documents which are forwarded to the centralized Farber Administration team and work with them to resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Cultivating relationships with external referrals and lead sources and managing and liaising with these relationships.
  • Handling communication of significant issues with clients.
  • Attending training, team meetings, and Farber events as required.
  • Developing a positive perception of the Farber brand in the market.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degreeordiploma with a focus inSales,Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in insolvency as a client facing advisor.
  • Familiarity with various insolvency engagements including Division I Proposals.
  • Currently enrolled in or interest in enrolling in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional designation is an asset.
  • You are motivated to succeed while maintaining highly professional and ethical standards,high personal standards of integrity, honesty, empathy and trustworthiness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect and empathize with others.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure clients’ needs are being actively heard and met.
  • A quick learner with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify solutions to meet specific individual needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High computer literacy including the ability to learn new programs and previous experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to operate with a sense of urgency and focus.
