Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Journeyman Millwright for the Materials Recovery Facility in Edmonton. The role focuses on repairing, maintaining, installing and upgrading mechanical equipment within SOP and permit requirements, while achieving KPI targets for safety, productivity and quality.

The ideal candidate holds an inter-provincial Red Seal Millwright certification, with 4+ years’ related experience, and is comfortable with on-call duties, overtime, and PPE requirements in a COR-certified environment.

Qualifications

• Inter-provincial Red Seal Millwright required (mandatory).
• Minimum of four (4) years’ related-industry experience.
• Experience with MP2 or a similar CMMS is a plus/asset.
• Ability to work shifts and pre-authorized overtime, and to perform on-call duties.
• Must be able to wear respirator and meet safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and troubleshoot facility machinery and equipment in a COR-certified plant.
• Mentor and train assigned Apprentice(s) and supervise Maintenance Technicians on WOs.
• Complete work orders with accurate documentation and safety compliance.
• Ensure safety, productivity, and quality KPIs are met across the EWMC site.
